Counselling & Psychotherapy Sessions Online and in Greater Manchester
Most of my work is long term and open-ended, which means that therapy will progress for as long as we both feel necessary to you. From my experience, it takes time and willingness to get to the core of the issues. Along the way, we start finding solutions and ways of dealing with the situations that matter to you and that are affecting your daily life. Therapy is a process, leading to real changes and deeper transformations.
I suggest an initial commitment of at least 8 sessions. Real changes require deep and meaningful work.
However, sometimes we go through some crisis or specific difficult events, when we need immediate help and support, for a shorter period of time. Please reach out to me and we can discuss your needs and decide on the best path for you.

I initially made contact with Sue as I had reached a real low point; I was feeling extremely anxious and lacked confidence in myself, especially at work. I have found the sessions with Sue very effective and it is amazing how quickly they enabled me to feel more relaxed and calm. I am now coping better and feel more in control. The techniques which she has taught me have assisted greatly in dealing with past fears and will enable me to manage any new anxieties in my life. Sue’s warm and welcoming approach in the sessions helped me feel relaxed and able to fully engage in the sessions. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sue as a therapist

I visited Confidence Counselling to overcome my fear of public speaking. I can highly recommend Sue, with her help after 2 sessions she turned from a highly embarrassed, squeaky voiced fearful speaker into a self confident, clearly spoken speaker. Speaking in public no longer puts the fear of God in to me, many thanks to Sue.
