For most of my working career I have worked in multidisciplinary teams in the statutory, educational and voluntary sector. I have worked as an alcohol counsellor with individuals and families as well as specialising in working with children and young people. I have experience of working in partnership with the police, prison service, social services and youth services as well as children’s charities as a consultant. I have also worked as a counsellor at the University of Higher Education, supporting students through any emotional issues that may cause stress whilst engaging in their studies. For many years I have worked in the NHS Adult Mental Health Services in Primary Care. I have experience working with people with moderate to severe mental health issues.
